Patricia “Patty” Mollick, 74, of Cairo, joined her Heavenly Father on February 14, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. Patty was born September 15, 1941 in Kirksville, MO to Keith Drennan and Laura Scriven Drennan. She attended Lone Star country school in Kirksville and later graduated from Kirksville High School. On October 9, 1959, she married Julian Mollick in Kirksville, MO. She and Julian moved to Cairo in 1971. Patty began working as a postal clerk at the Moberly Post Office in 1986 and retired from there in 2006. She was a member of the Cairo Baptist Church. She enjoyed small livestock farming, cake decorating, sewing, cross stitching, and gardening. Her family and friends said she was an accomplished seamstress and a great cook, who shared her baking skills with others for special occasions. Patty was famous for her mints and her pecan tassies. She was actively involved with 4-H for over 35 year and served as a mentor to many. Those preceding Patty in death are her parents; a sister, Jolene Mollick; nephews, Mike Boren, John Paul Durham and Alan Durham; and an uncle James Scriven. She is survived by her husband Julian, her children, Jill Eoff (Duane) and Joe Mollick (Carol) both of Cairo, MO; grandchildren, Noah, Benjamin and Chloe Eoff; Drennan, Ian, and Sophy Mollick, all of Cairo; siblings, Donna McCartney and Carolyn Durham of Kirksville, Nancy Durham (Bob) of La Plata, MO, Bill Drennan (Verna) of Kirksville, MO and Janie Durham (Gordon) of Clark, MO. Services for Patty will be Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Cairo Baptist Church, Cairo, MO at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment in the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home in Moberly. Memorial contributions may be made to the Neighborly Community 4-H, C/O Teresa Weigand, 1632 CR 1955, Cairo, MO 65239.
