Patrick "Pat" Harlen Hergert

Patrick "Pat" Harlen Hergert, 77, of Moberly, MO passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Moberly Regional Medical Center, Moberly, MO.

Pat was born on July 6, 1948, to Otto M. and Rosa P. (Schwager) Hergert in Sherrard, IL. He married Ursula Wilder in 1989, and they shared 51 years together.

Pat will be remembered for his orneriness, humor, and dedication to family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Ursula, Moberly, MO. Stepson Steve Wilder (Susan), Columbia, Mo. Brother John "Jack" Hergert (Judy), Illinois City, IL. Sister-in-law JoAnn Hergert, Colona, IL. Cousin "his chosen brother" Dale Hergert (Laurie), Sherrard, IL. Special friend Delina Prather. Along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Michael Hergert.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held at a later date. The family asks for privacy at this difficult time.
