Peggy Ann Clark

Peggy was born on July 20, 1945, to William (Bill) Bowden and Eloise Bowden and She later married Robert L. Clark, Sr. on June 24, 1962.

Peggy was a schoolteacher for 17 years for the Higbee RVIII School District. She was involved with school, teaching, Booster Club, and many organizations throughout her life. She enjoyed spending time with friends, playing cards, watching her kids and grandchildren play sports. Friends and family were very important to her. She will be fondly remembered for being a loving and caring person who would do whatever she could to help someone.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert L. Clark, Sr., two sons, Robert (Jane) Clark Jr. of Higbee, MO and Danny (Rebecca) Clark, of Higbee, MO, six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Billie Sue (Robert) Smith, Dani Bowden (Mike), of California. brothers in law, Donald Clark, of Higbee, MO, Herschell Clark, of Moberly, MO, sister-in-law, Hazel Gordon, of Higbee, MO, Louise (Jody) Perkins, of Higbee, MO, Lisa Clark, aunt, Helen Thompson, of Jefferson City, MO and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and friends.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Barbara Esry, brother in laws, Freddie & Richard Clark, Clarence Gordon, sister-in-law, Myra Jean and Gladys Clark.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel in Moberly, MO. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, followed by entombment at Higbee City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Higbee School for the elementary program and lunch programs.
