Phyllis C. Skaggs, 69, of Huntsville, MO passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO. She was born November 20, 1947 in Higbee, MO to Leroy Noah and Mary K. Chism Noah. Phyllis was a lifelong resident of Randolph County and a member of Family Life Fellowship Church. On March 29, 1975, she married Richard Skaggs in Higbee, MO. Phyllis worked as a licensed beautician gaining both loyal customers and friends over the years. She enjoyed traveling and loved spending time with her family and friends. Phyllis had a warm smile, kind heart and giving spirit. She will be missed by all who knew her. Phyllis is preceded in death by her grandparents, her father and her sister, Judy Hicks. Survivors include her husband, Richard Skaggs of Huntsville, MO; her mother, Mary K. Noah of Moberly; her children, Brian Skaggs of Moberly, MO and Jennifer and Lonnie Collins of Menomonie, WI; special niece, Jennifer Rodgers of Centerview, MO; grandchildren, Katey and Jason Stuck of Macon, MO, Eli Wilhite, Emily and Josh Mane, Andrew Wilhite, Lily Collins, Leah Collins, Brett Collins and Laney Collins all of Menomonie, WI; great-grandchildren, Max Barron and Liam Stuck of Macon, MO; sister, Mary Ann and Lloyd Kerr of Moberly, Mo; extended family and close friends. Services celebrating Phyllis’ life will be held Monday, March 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Family Life Fellowship, 1614 Highway 24 East, Moberly, MO with interment to follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Shiloh Christian Children’s Ranch, 601 N. Center Street, Shelbina, MO 63468 or the American Cancer Society, 2409 Hyde Park Road, Jefferson City, MO 65109.
