Randall Wayne Belcher

August 20, 1950 — September 20, 2023

Randall Wayne Belcher

Randall Wayne Belcher, 73, of Cairo, Missouri, passed away, at his home, after a short, but toughly fought battle with Advanced Myeloid Leukemia, on September 20th, 2023, with his beloved family by his side.

Randy was born August 20th, 1950, in Birmingham, Alabama to Maburn Ottis Jackson Belcher and Dovie Lois (Vick) Belcher.

Later in life, Randy relocated to the Mid Missouri area. Randy worked in retail management in department and specialty stores across the Midwest. His secondary career was in outside sales management, advertising and health and public safety communications.

When Randy met his wife Renee, it was love at first sight. That love grew to include his girls, oldest daughter, Bridget Nichole and his youngest daughter, Brooke Danielle. Randy always thought his greatest accomplishment was being a father. He was the best “girl” dad, and it was often joked about. In addition, he was so proud of his six grandchildren, three girls and three boys. All of which kept him busy traveling to all types of sporting events and activities. But, most of all he loved all of his family, near and far, and instilled good values in his children and grandchildren that have and will serve them well.

Randy will be remembered for his sense of humor, even in the darkest of hours. At times, it sometimes lacked a filter. He had passion and love for his family and was a generous, loyal, kind and fun-loving man who was often seen with a warm smile on his face. He will be dearly missed and, in our hearts, forever.

Randy is preceded in death by his father, Maburn (MoJo) Belcher, his mother, Dovie Lois (Vick) Belcher, his sisters, Kathy Denise Sims, and little sister Bridgette Faye Belcher, two brothers Ricky Lane Belcher and Joe Seaburn Belcher, two brother in laws, Danny Sims and James Gordon. His mother-in-law, June Marie Duncan and father-in-law, Orval Lee Duncan.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Renee Belcher, two daughters Bridget Ryan and husband David Ryan, Brooke Gipson and husband Bradley Gipson both of Cairo, MO. Grandchildren, Keegan Nichole Ryan of Moberly, MO, Koy Edward Ryan and Kason Lee Ryan of Cairo, MO Gus Bradley Gipson, Georgia June Gipson and Dovie Ruth Gipson of Cairo, MO. His two sisters, Sheila Kaye (Belcher) Putley and husband Bruce Putley of Helena, Al. and Tina Marie (Belcher) Gordon of Plano, Texas. His brother Benjamin Belcher of Birmingham, AL and Brother-in-laws Richard Duncan and wife Terry and Ronald Duncan all of Cairo, MO and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
