Richard Keith Knedler, Jr. of Moberly passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at his home. Richard was born April 14, 1953 to the late Richard and Betty (Worley) Knedler in Ottumwa, Iowa. He was a member of Family Life Fellowship. He spent many years giving and caring for others by serving at the Food Pantry. Richard loved the Denver Broncos, NASCAR, and going to the dog track. He was a handyman who could fix anything. During his career, he worked as a truck driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandchild, Patrick Knedler. Survivors include his children: Stephanie Knedler of Columbia, Missouri, Tara Knedler of Columbia, Missouri, Karen Knedler of Columbia, Missouri, Teresa Knedler of Portland, Oregon, David Knedler of Portland, Oregon, Darlene Knedler of Portland, Oregon, and Ty Mills of Moberly, Missouri; brother, Jeff Knedler of Denver, Colorado; sister, Janice Myers of Denver, Colorado; 15 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild on the way; 3 nieces; 3 nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. A Celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Family Life Fellowship, 1614 Highway 24 East, Moberly, Missouri at 11:00 a.m. under the direction of Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family asks the memorial donations be made to Family Life Fellowship.
