Ruth Owens Mahr

Ruth Owens Mahr, 87 of Moberly, Missouri passed away Marh 31, 2011 at Moberly Regional Medical Center in Moberly. Ruth ws born October 9, 1923 in Scatterbranch, Texas the daughter of Andrew C. Owens and Hettie Lou (Goodwin) Owens. Ruth entered into marriage to Robert M. Mahr on June 8, 1952 in Clovis, New Mexico and he preceded her in death March 10, 2006. Ruth was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Moberly and she also particiated in the Women’s Christian Society at the chruch. Ruth graduated from West Texas Stte University and worked as an administrative assistant for the U.S. Veteran’s Department and the U.S. State Department in Stutt Gart, Germany, she also worked for Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan along with several private companies. Her parents, husband and six brothers preceded her in death.
