Samuel Edward Ancell

Samuel Edward Ancell, age 51, of Higbee, Missouri, passed away in a car accident on November 20, 2023, on Highway 124 near Harrisburg, Missouri.

Sam was born on March 11, 1972, in Moberly, Missouri, to Thomas Joseph Ancell and Helen Marie Fainter. He graduated from Fayette High School in 1991. He worked at City of Higbee for 16 years then at 3M for 10 years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, playing pool and all kinds of games, specifically cards. He loved talking and nobody was a stranger, most of all he loved to visit his relatives. Family and friends will always remember Sam for his kind heart and fun-loving personality.

He loved his fiancé, Kaitlyn Josephine Turner and two children, Richard James Turner and Isabella L.P. Turner.

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Ancell; grandparents; aunts; uncles and many cousins.

Sam is survived by his mother, Helen “Fainter” Moore of Higbee, MO and brother, Joseph (Sarah) Ancell of Higbee, MO.

A funeral service celebrating Sam’s life has been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel in Moberly, MO, followed by interment at Mt. Pleasant Christian Church 3820 State Route A, Fayette, MO 65248. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel.
