Sharyn Huss

Sharyn (Woody) Huss, age 78, of Moberly, MO, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024, in her home.

Sharyn was born on April 25, 1946, in Moberly, MO, to Elaine (Tobabin) and Jim Woody. She graduated from Moberly High School and then received her LPN license from Moberly Jr. College now known as Moberly Area Community College. Over the course of her life, she was employed at all three Moberly Hospitals: Woodland Hospital, the Community Hospital and Moberly Regional Medical Center. She was a member of the Moberly Lutheran Church and enjoyed visiting various churches with her friends as well. Sharyn married Bill Huss and they were married for 33 years.

She enjoyed bowling, collecting recipes and home remedies. Everybody always praised her dedication to newborns and bringing life into the world in the OB department where she had worked for several years. Her family and friends will always remember her as very compassionate and caring.

Sharyn was preceded in death by her parents, Elaine & Jim Woody and her husband, Bill Huss.

She is survived by her son, Michael Mize, of Georgia; her daughter, Robin Regan, of Mississippi; and grandson, Christopher Spray, serving in the United States Military in Italy.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel in Moberly, MO. A private graveside service will follow at Memorial Cemetery in Moberly.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Sharyn’s name be made to the charity of your choice.
