Shelly L Lovelace

Shelly L. Lovelace, of Mexico, MO, was born to Lee Roy and Nelda Leiker on September 10, 1962, and gained her angel wings on Friday, January 16, 2026, while a resident of The Arbors of Ravenwood Terrace in Moberly, MO.

On March 27, 1987 Shelly married Kevin Lovelace, who survives of the home.

Shelly was a lifelong employee of the Missouri Veterans Home in Mexico and a long time devoted member of the Church of Christ. Shelly enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, and going to the casino.

Shelly was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Roy and Nelda Leiker; her grandparents, Gordon and Mary Shearer, and Raymond and Mathilda Leiker; an infant brother, Gordon Leiker; and sister, Debbie Fitzpatrick.

Shelly is survived by her husband, Kevin, of the home; stepdaughter, Amber; stepson,  Andrew; sisters Sherrie (Nathan) Wisdom, Linda Kessler, and Vickie Leiker; nephews;  Lonnie Kessler (Kimberly Ruiz), Zachary (Kate) Wisdom, and William Crabtree; niece; Natalie Wisdom (Kent Lewis); and numerous cousins and extended family,

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., at the Logan Street Church of Christ with a fellowship meal to follow. Flowers or cards may be sent to the church the morning of the service.

Shelly will be deeply missed by her sisters and all who knew her.
