Stacey Smith

Stacey William Smith, 44, of Renick, MO, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 14, 2015. He was born August 25, 1970 to Bob and Sherry Smith in Moberly. Stacey graduated from Moberly High School in 1988. He was currently employed as a warehouse manager for Premier Paper and Packaging in Columbia. Stacey married Debbie (Fray) Thompson on October 17, 1998, and she survives of the home. Also surviving are a son, Zackary William Smith and a daughter Cassidy Marie Smith; mother, Sherry Smith; sister, Lori (Smith)Wooldridge; nieces and nephews Robyn and Timmy Maag, Brittany and Robbie Momphard, Alex Jones; great nephew Leighton Maag and great niece Mckenzie Momphard, grandpa Willard Neal; father-in-law and mother-in-law Jerry and Dodie Jones; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jeff and Chrissy Jones; aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert William Smith; grandparents, George and Hilda Smith, and grandmother Mona Neal. Stacey loved his family and friends, horses, tinkering on the farm and having BBQ’s with his family and friends. He liked making the rounds on the weekend, visiting dear friends. He enjoyed taking a stroll down memory lane by sitting in his hangout, talking about memories and listening to music. He was wise and a great friend to many, and would do anything to help his family and friends. He is loved by all and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Services will be Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home in Moberly. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 18, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will be afforded following the service and a private remembrance will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.
