Thomas Jones

Thomas Jeffery Jones, 52, of Harrisburg, MO, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Lake Regional Hospital.

Thomas Jeffery Jones was born on November 19, 1973, in Fulton, Missouri, to Bob and Carmen Jones. He grew up in Hallsville and Sturgeon, Missouri, and graduated from Sturgeon High School in 1992.

Thomas was a hardworking man who was never afraid to get his hands dirty. Throughout his life, he worked with his hands, from working with tires to driving trucks. He especially loved being behind the wheel and hauling heavy equipment. There was something about the open road and a job well done that suited Thomas.

On July 18, 1998, Thomas married Stephanie Donner. Together, they built a life and a family that meant everything to him. Their nearly 28 years of marriage brought them two children, Raina Nauerth and her husband, Garrett, of Higbee, Missouri, and Bryson Jones of Harrisburg, Missouri, and two beloved grandsons, Jayce and Blaine of Higbee.

Above all else, Thomas loved his family. Some of his happiest moments were the simple ones spent with the people he loved most. He treasured time spent fishing with Jayce and Blaine, creating memories with his grandsons that they will carry with them for years to come. He enjoyed hunting and could often be found tinkering in the garage with Garrett. Whether they were working on something, telling stories, or simply spending time together, it was being surrounded by family that brought Thomas the greatest joy.

Thomas also had a special place in his heart for Astro, his beloved fur baby, whom he and Stephanie rescued in 2018. Astro quickly became part of the family and a faithful companion who held a very special place in Thomas's life.

He is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie; his daughter, Raina Nauerth and her husband, Garrett; his son, Bryson Jones; his grandsons, Jayce and Blaine; and his beloved Astro.

He is also survived by his siblings, Robert Jones and his wife, Stephanie, of Higbee, Missouri; along with his nieces and nephews, James Jones of Waynesville, Missouri; Levi Jones and his wife, Casey, of Higbee, Missouri; Anna Taylor and her husband, Matt, of Copperas Cove, Texas; and Tara Wells of Jefferson City, Missouri; along with many great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Carmen Jones.

Thomas's life was found in the things that mattered most—the family he loved, the work of his hands, time spent outdoors, and the memories made alongside those closest to him. He will be deeply missed, but the love he gave his family and the memories they shared with him will remain a lasting part of his legacy.

A visitation for Thomas will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 5:00 ~ 7:00 p.m. at Pathway Millard Family Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 23, 2023, beginning at 10:00 a.m., also at Pathway Millard Family Funeral Chapel, Burial will follow at the Higbee City Cemetery, in Higbee, MO.
