Wendy Lou Davis, 54, passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by family on Sunday July 15, 2018 after a hard battle with cancer. Wendy was born to Kurt and Peggy Middleton on March 30, 1964 in Moberly, MO. On May 18, 1985, she married David Davis at New Hope Methodist Church in Clark, MO. Preceding Wendy in death include her mother-in-law, Evelyn Davis; her grandparents, Stanley and Margaret Clever and her grandfather George Middleton. Survivors include her parents, Kurt and Peggy Middleton of Moberly, MO; father-in-law, Joe Davis of Clark, MO; grandmother, Florence Middleton of Moberly, MO; husband, David Davis of Middle Grove, MO; her children, Trevor (McKenzie) Davis of Middle Grove, MO and Tyler Davis of Middle Grove, MO; brother, Scott (Ann) Middleton of Moberly, MO; many nieces nephews and great nieces and nephews. Wendy worked at Steak Palace and Keller’s Office Supplies in Moberly. Wendy began working for Truesdell Brothers as a bookkeeper from 1986 until 2006 when it became MFA, where she stayed until 2018. Wendy was loved by all that came through Clark and built a strong relationship with her coworkers and famers that utilized the feed store. Wendy never met a stranger and no matter where she would be, could always run into someone that she knew. She was a compassionate and caring person who always kept family at the center of her life. You could always find Wendy in the kitchen cooking up something for her family or in the swimming pool during the summer days. Visitation for Wendy will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home followed by a Memorial Service on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the New Hope United Methodist Church in Clark, MO. In lieu of flowers we ask that a memorial contribution be made in Wendy’s name to the Monroe County Cancer Supporters, 118 North Main St., Paris, MO 65275.
