William Leowen Webb Jr., 69, passed away on November 9, 2025, at 7:35 a.m. at his home. He was born on February 18, 1956 in Wood River, Illinois and was the son of William Leowen Webb Sr. and Marcella Webb. He was married to the former Pauline Joyce Stewart. He lived a life marked by service, dedication, and faith.
William proudly served in the United States Air Force before continuing his commitment to community through his work with Litchfield Parks and Recreation in Illinois. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Litchfield, where he was a custodian and participated in youth ministries and contributed to various church activities. His involvement extended beyond local service, including a mission trip to Moldova that reflected his desire to support communities both near and far and spread God’s Word.
William is survived by his loving wife, Pauline Webb of Litchfield, Illinois, step-daughter, Joyce Reece (Sean), step-son, Floyd “Bub” Perkins (Chris), and daughter, Deborah Schmahl (Kyle). Also surviving are his sisters, Deborah Webb Barrett and Dana Webb Archibald (Scott), grandchildren, Carmen Webb, Kira Schmahl, Jake Schmahl , Layla Schmahl, Michael Reece (Bette Jean), Alicia Reece Hogan (Douglas), Emily Reece Jordan (Connor), great grandchildren, Ruby Mae Reece, Judson Reece, Robyn Reece, Charlotte Reece, Evie Hogan, Adelaide Hogan, Molly Jordan and M. Levi Jordan. Nephews and nieces, Dawne Barrett, Don Barrett Jr.(Crystal), William Barrett, Michael Barrett (Veronica), Mitchell Bradley-Barrett, Carlea Barrett, Lucien Barrett, Aaron Barrett, Jordan Barrett, Mitchell Owens, Jed Meadows, Marc Archibald (Nicole), Connor Archibald (Makayla), Patrick Archibald (Kelsea), as well as 19 great nephews and nieces.
William was preceded in death by his parents; William Webb Sr., Marcella Webb, his son, William “Billy Lee” Webb III, nephew, James Barrett.
A graveside service, including full Military Honors will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 12:00 noon at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Jacksonville, MO.
